REGISTER ESHRAM- Unified identity card for all workers in the country. E Shram Portal is a portal launched by the Central Government on the instructions of the Supreme Court to issue Unified Identity Cards to unorganised workers across the country. The project will be of great benefit to the common man. All unorganised workers who are not ESI / EPF members are required to complete this registration before December 2021. You can register it on your own portal or through the nearest Akshaya / CSC centers.
You need to register on the portal register.eshram.gov.in. If you have Aadhaar, bank account number and mobile number associated with Aadhaar, you can register your own information using OTP verification facility. If anyone in your group no longer has a mobile number linked to Aadhaar, you can go to your nearest Akshaya / CSC center and register with biometric verification.
Once you have completed the registration you can download and keep the card from the website. Although e-registration will not affect the benefits currently available, e-registration will be mandatory for various benefits provided by the Central Government.
