As a good initiative to solve these problem National informatics Center(NIC) developed an app which is a capsule of informations including all government offices their location, contact number, email-id etc. It is very easy for someone to select a district and access any of the department.
Each department will list all the government offices comes under it’s scope and the services available there. Some of the categories listed on the app are as follows.Revenue, Police,Road Transport,Health, Local body institutions,KSEB, Agriculture,Civil supplies, Registration,Animal Husbandry,Fisheries,Education,Industries,Important district offices and more.This app allows user to access phone number, location and sending email from single interface. We reviews different services provided by private services such as hotels, restaurants, bakeries, shopping malls etc. We also select these facilities on the basis of reviews by previously experienced people. If we have facilities to review our government service, there is definitely an improvement in the productivity of this sector.
Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan stated that citizen can find, location and phone number of different government office using this app. It also allows people to review their feed back about the respective service and rated with one to four stars. One of the NIC employee stated that they got lots reviews daily. Some of them complaints about improper phone number provided by the app that people couldn’t contact government office properly. They also received negative reviews about irresponsible responds of government officials. All these reviews are processed and solved by a team of employees in the leadership of Assistant Collector of the district. They will contact the government officials and make amendments if it is genuine. This app tried to include all the offices in Kerala. It listed 1,250 government offices of different categories under ernakulam district. If we take app users number by counting one government official per one office, it will be thousands of users.Besides of that lots of common people download this app daily.It is now available on Google playstore with over all ratings of 3.7 stars,309 reviews and 50k+ downloads.
